I came close to losing it all last year. But I didn’t and It’s time to live my best life and make every day count. It’s time to be my husband’s SmileyGirl.
The aurora borealis is a fickle phenomenon. A week can pass without a flicker … then bang! The Northern Lights come on like a celestial lava lamp.
Because I live on a boat, that make me a mariner, right? Yes, a weird early morning thought that led to some interesting research. But am I a mariner?
Why don’t we have a microwave on our boat? We don’t need it and in its place we have a mixer, toaster, blender, kettle and Instant Pot.
Meet Sweet Pea – our favourite first mate, purr machine and lap kitty. We adopted her from the BC SPCA and once we met her she was ready to go home with us.
It’s a little hard to believe that as of this Friday, we will live full-time on the water. It’s going to be an adventure!
