In this busy, confusing and often scary world, it’s easy to get caught up in negative thoughts. From the Twitter posts to the nightly news and even friends’ Facebook posts, our soul can take a beating.
But knowing what makes your soul happy and taking time do it helps balance the negativity that swirls around us. For me, it’s dropping the hook in an anchorage and just floating.
Watching the seals and other marine life go about their days while we soak up the calmness is refreshing. And my soul feels happier the next morning as we pull up the anchor and we move on.
